Caledonia Tentsmuir Beach, Afternoon Light

Light, space and a sense of calm – that’s what this painting, with its expansive, overcast sky, brings to a room. One of our resident artists Daisy Sims-Hilditch painted it en plein air on the sand dunes at Tentsmuir Beach in Scotland: a dramatic landscape where the pine forest stretches almost onto the sands.
